Photo by Jade. The gardens surrounding the Cascade Brewery are beautiful. The beer was too! Kirsty stayed at home for some alone time, but it was worth visiting even if you don’t drink beer. As we drove around the corner, the Brewery looked eerie with low cloud covering Mt Wellington behind it.
30/12/11 We headed into the Taste of Tasmania festival. It catered well for families. In the kids area there was colourful bean bags all over the place, with lots of activities running all day. The food was yummy. Oysters, cheeses, raspberry pancakes & sundaes, wines & beers, with street performers & bands playing constantly. We saw Ella Bache come in. Jessica wasn’t in the mood for photos unfortunately but we very close to her. We also walked around the old part of the city & soaked up all the history & the blazing hot sun. We are all 2 shades darker. We would definitely come back to Hobart again.
Arthur’s Circle – old part of Hobart Town. The cottages are built around a round-about. Very tiny!
